LOST/FOUND IN TRANSLATION PROJECT BOOK
This book was designed as an overall summary of the ‘Lost in Translation’ project I work on. Lost in Translation was a ‘mini – thesis’ project that sought to challenge preconceptions about modern day translation and technology, by subtly pointing out its flaws but also recognising possibility in the content of those flaws. With globalisation increasing, the work opened up a discussion that looked deeper into the methods of translating and the potential in the results of translation. Perhaps flaws in translation are not something negative, but rather something to be embraced, perhaps we get found in translation rather than lost.
